Partners’ Roundtable “Moving with the Data”
Partners’ Roundtable “Moving with the Data”
Employment Equity Partnership (EEP) Round Table brings together prominent stakeholders and partners to deep dive into the exploration of equitable employment practices and the importance of diversity at the workplace within key sectors.
The Partners’ Roundtable, based on the theme of “Moving with the Data”, will bring together industry leaders and key stakeholders on strategic discussions on how, as Canadians, we can address systemic racism and inequities as we start to build back stronger on the path to economic recovery.
We are “Moving with the Data” as an imperative to drive systems and behavioural change to advance equity and inclusion for Indigenous, Black and racialized Canadians. We believe the coronavirus pandemic has presented a unique opportunity for us to re-imagine an inclusive future, for all. We believe there is an increased for transparency and accountability in how organizations collect, analyze and process race and gender based data, among other forms of disaggregated data.
The Partners’ Roundtable is a strategic dialogue on pathways for employment equity and inclusion, for systemic and structural change in Canada. We invite participation from: Senior Leaders, Policymakers and Executives responsible for diversity and inclusion, including (not limited) to: CEOs, Government Leaders (local/provincial/federal), Human Resource & Talent Managers, Employee Resource Groups, Economic Development Agencies, Settlement Sector Leaders, Civic Leaders, Educators, Researchers, Non-profit/Community Leaders, Youth Leaders and Newcomers.
The outcomes of these strategic discussions will help organizations and institutions to better understand opportunities within the talent management cycle (talent attraction, retention and advancement), and opportunities for engaging diverse talents from equity-seeking and historically marginalized groups. It will focus on the need for shifts in policy, practice and process and help organizations to advance further.
