Mira was born in Kazakhstan, where she lived until 2018 when she moved to Canada for a Master’s in International and Intercultural Communication at Royal Roads University. Her experience covers extensive corporate sector work with leading oil and gas companies, including Tengizchevroil which operates one of the largest oilfields in the world. She worked at the Tengiz oilfield as Policy, Government and Public Affairs Advisor with local community, officials and colleagues. As a public relations professional, Mira has worked in internal communication, external relations stakeholder engagement and research. Mira’s research focuses on gender equality in the workplace as well as the social ramifications on community development. She has also led and facilitated various community engagement processes and led change management processes within public and private organizations.
